"The Bauhaus: 90 Years / 90 Days" updates
Hi everybody,
Thanks for registering at "The Bauhaus: 90 Years / 90 Days"! We're almost a month into this project, and about two more months to go. More than 30 individuals and organizations have contributed to this project so far, which is great. We've had two events so far -- a Laszlo Moholy-Nagy birthday celebration and "Chicago Bauhaus in July."
Some of you have already contributed projects to Bauhaus9090 so far, whereas some more of you have stated your interest to contribute something later. Thanks to those of you who have contributed something so far. For those of you who haven't contributed something yet, please let me know which date you'd like to commit to -- so we can continue to plan ahead. I would like to invite you explore the website regularly -- so you can find out the projects that have gone up on the website so far, and so you can find out about and contribute to forums, etc. Special thanks goes to Orin Buck, who set up this website.
Also, we'll be planning more events in the next two months. Please let me know if you have any suggestions about organizing events.
"The Bauhaus: 90 Years / 90 Days" is being co-organized by the Borderbend Arts Collective and the Gropius in Chicago Coalition. You can find out about GCC and their campaign to preserve the buildings designed by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius and other architects, by visiting http://www.gropiuschicago.org.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
Dan
